  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, then add chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
  5. Whisk in heavy cream and parmesan until melted, then stir in sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, coating with sauce. Bake for about 13 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Allow resting time before serving topped with sauce and fresh basil.
