  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the marinade.
  5. Bake salmon for 12 to 15 minutes or until cooked to your liking.
  6. In the last few minutes of cooking, bring the reserved marinade to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Once cooked, drizzle the thickened sauce over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
