Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (or more to taste)
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. In a bowl, mix olive oil and spices; coat chicken pieces well.
  2. Skewer the chicken tightly together. For air fryer fit, trim excess skewer length if needed.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter with minced garlic. Stir in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parsley, and parmesan until combined. Reserve one-third for later.
  4. Cook skewers in the air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes. Flip and baste with reserved sauce; cook an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook for another 5-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve with a final basting of sauce and extra parmesan.
