Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (approximately 250g)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth (720ml)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (2 for sauce, 2 for broth)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (60ml)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried, approximately 200g total)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken thoroughly and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Rest before slicing.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken slightly; set aside.
  4. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  5. In a pot, heat sesame oil and sauté the remaining minced garlic until aromatic. Add chicken broth and soy sauce; simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Divide noodles into bowls. Pour hot broth over them, top with sliced chicken, and drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and chili oil if desired. Serve hot.
