Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (approx. 300g)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth (720ml)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (2 for broth, 2 for sauce)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (60ml)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried, approx. 400g total)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken evenly and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Let it rest before slicing.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened; set aside.
  4. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  5. In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté remaining minced garlic until aromatic. Add chicken broth and soy sauce; simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Divide the cooked noodles into bowls. Ladle the spicy broth over the noodles, top with sliced chicken, and drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and optional chili oil for extra heat. Serve hot.
