  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2.5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 6-mold donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. For the crumb topping: In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add the butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs. Chill in the freezer while preparing the donuts.
  3. For the donuts: In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients; in another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients. Gently fold wet into dry until just combined.
  4. Fill the donut pan with batter using a spoon or piping bag and sprinkle crumb topping over each.
  5. Bake for 10-11 minutes until donuts spring back when pressed. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
