Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons regular soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice apple vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha
  • ¼ teaspoon white ground pepper
  • 3 packages instant ramen noodles (3-ounce each)
  • 1 pound diced boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 cup sliced white button mushrooms
  • ½ cup diced sweet yellow onion
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • Optional: thinly sliced green onion and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the regular soy sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, and white pepper. Set aside.
  2. Boil 6 cups of water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add ramen noodles and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until softened. Drain and rinse under cold water; set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the diced chicken for about 4 to 5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil and sauté the bell pepper, mushrooms, and onions for about 2 to 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Add broccoli and sauté until vibrant green. Stir in garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and combine with vegetables. Turn off heat and add cooked ramen.
  7. Pour the prepared sauce over the mixture; toss everything together using tongs.
  8. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
