  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  2. Add ground beef to the pan and brown it while breaking it apart.
  3. Drain excess grease if necessary, then stir in cooked turkey bacon.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  5. Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until chili thickens.
  6. Stir in butter until melted and combined.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
