Ingredients

Scale
  • 15 oz (425g) center cut boneless beef chops (3 beef chops)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Italian parsley (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the beef chops with salt and ground black pepper. In a bowl, mix honey, warm water, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper to create the Honey Garlic Sauce.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Sear the beef chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Move the chops to one side of the skillet. Add remaining butter, then sauté minced garlic for about 10 seconds until light brown. Pour in the Honey Garlic Sauce and cook until thickened and amber in color.
  4. Spoon the sauce over the beef chops, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
