Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 frozen dinner roll dough balls (thawed)
  • 23 tablespoons canola oil or nonstick cooking spray
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 5+ tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Cut each thawed dough ball in half to create 24 equal portions. Roll each into a 6-inch 'snake.' Twist both ends of the dough clockwise and pinch the ends together.
  2. Place the twists in the air fryer basket, brush with oil, and let puff at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375℉. Whisk sugar and cinnamon together; air fry twists for about 7 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Brush baked twists with melted butter and coat in cinnamon sugar. Serve warm with cream cheese dip.
